Over the course of 2017 Ed ran at least a mile every day, and kept a daily blog of his exploits. This resulted in a diary and photo journal which amounted to far more than simply the pounding of feet and occasional sense of nausea. Through the course of what at first appeared to be a set of mundane exercises arose a series of micro-adventures encompassing: joy, local history, mountains, personal tragedy, friendship, whimsy and a surprising amount of cake. This is the first time that the entire blog has been collated into a paper format and features the daily updates and daily colour photos that accompanied every post. Born with a bi-lateral cleft lip and palate Edward donated the sponsorship money raised from his runs to the Cleft Lip and Palate Association raising over 1500 during the course of the year. It is an inspiring read with a great sense of fun, mischief and hope thrown in; so get your shoes on and get outside Edward Wright is a musician and often times reluctant runner who lives in North Wales. A self-confessed tea-oholic an overdeveloped sense of the ridiculous his writing ranges from the learned to the absurd by way of the occasional nod to the real world.
