A "first responder" while we are lucky to have men and women willing to step up and provide a public service to help others, Police, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Personal want to help, but seldom if ever will truly be the first on the scene.
A "Deliberate Responder" is that person who has made the conscious decision to not be a victim, to seek the appropriate training to be able to help themselves and perhaps even those around them. Personal or Professional, the deliberate decision to carry a firearm and seek quality, meaningful training is not one that should be taken lightly.
"1 of 100 A Deliberate Responder" is the Author's in depth look at firearms training as it directly relates to personal defense. 30 years of personal experience as a firearms instructor in one setting or another offers a unique insight, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, sometimes just opinion but insight nevertheless.
Certainly, there are countless books, training documents and videos available to the "Deliberate Responder" seeking training, it is the Author's sincere hope this work will find a place in every training program and includes firearms training exercises and skill drills in addition to thoughts on how to develop a training and practice program as unique as the end user.
