I don't know, how could anyone rate this book with a single star. This is a really great book. It tells you about everything you need to know. I am a programmer (C/C++/Assembly), and I wanted to create a nice site to advertise my programs. This book is a must BUY. I also love the fact, that it is very thin, and that the chapters can really be completed in ten or twenty minutes. This book is definitely a must buy for the novice...It gets you on the right track, afterwards, getting practical tips is as easy as browser the web and viewing the HTML SOURCE of all coool things you find on the web. BUY THIS BOOK if you want to learn HTML. Great Great Book...- Zeeshan Zia <[email protected] & g
The best book for HTML beginners

Before I bought this book I didn't know anything about HTML. Nada period. I didn't know anything about programming, just how to write letters using word. Once I started reading this book, I realized how easy HTML really is. Some chapters will take more of 10 minutes, but sometimes you wish the author would expand more in other chapters. Sometimes it can get boring too. But in overall, I would strongly recommend this book for beginners who want quick results.

If you want to learn HTML this is the book to buy. Unlike many larger books, the 10 Minute Guide to HTML cuts straight to the heart of the matter, telling you what you need to know in order to get your web pages up as soon as possible. Its packed with information presented in a clear, concise form thats easy to read and understand. The main difference between this book and many of the larger ones is that the 10 Minute Guide hasn't been padded out with the history of the Internet, HTML, and anything else the author can think of to justify an inflated price tag. Which means that this book, unlike those others, won't put you to sleep before you can find any useful information. If you want to learn basic HTML, buy this book! Its a great place to start.

I read Tim's first "10 Minute Guide to HTML" in one day... easy reading and tells you what you need to know. Before spending $40, $50 (and up) on some big 'telephone' book about HTML, get a copy of this book... it was the best $10 I've ever spent on any computer book. HTML is easy... and Tim Evans proves it.
