Wonderful photography of the Adirondacks

In this book Farb expresses wonderfully the natural spirit of the Adirondacks. Most of the photos are 8x10", so every last detail comes through clearly. Views of the prominent Ausable River, Whiteface Mountain, and Mount Marcy are a must, and compare nicely with the intimate views of lesser known places. Spanning four seasons and all times of day, the varied lighting and weather conditions express a myriad of moods and auras. I highly recommend this book, as well as Carl Heilman's Adirondacks: Views of An American Wilderness for anybody interested in nature, photography, or the Adirondacks.
