To a passer-by, the beautiful old historic building that sits at 2060 Sherman Avenue may appear to merely be a large, red brick school building; but to those of us who have known her as Norwood High School, Norwood Junior High, or Norwood Middle School, she represents much more; friendships, guidance, experiences and memories never to be forgotten. The specific feeling of so many graduates toward growing up in Norwood and attending the Norwood schools, especially the old high school, is an intangible thing, which can never be fully expressed by mere words. Hopefully, the pictures and words of this book will convey the sentiment felt by so many alumni toward this school - our school.
