I have had this book for quite a few years, bought it when my daughter decided to become vegetarian. My daughter is now grown and on her own (and still a vegetarian) but I still use this book because of the many delicious recipes. Everything I have made has been wonderful, great flavors and pretty simple. The Puttanesca sauce recipe is the best I have ever had and worth the price of the book itself. Even if you are not a vegetarian you will find wonderful, tasty dishes to make where you could care less about meat.
