We spend about one third of our lives asleep-but we still feel tired. Without a good eight hours, we end up head-bobbing at work and drinking enough coffee to fuel a jet This book addresses the surprisingly complex issue of sleep in easy-to-tackle steps. This exhaustive guide brings shuteye within reach as it explains how to: Pay back a sleep debtNap without throwing off nighttime rest Deter disturbing dreamsHandle a sleepwalker (or night-eater ) Take a bite out of teeth grinding, and more It's usually not a good thing for a book to put you to sleep. But this one-way ticket to dreamland will help you go from counting sheep to fast asleep
I've read more than my fair share about insomnia and sleep disorders, especially at night when I can't sleep. Until now I've read only articles & research findings written by physicians and M.D. based research clinics. Useful but non-user-friendly. I found 365 Ways surprisingly easy to read and the information accurately fact based. I was even more impressed to see it had been written by a sleep disorder specialist (M.D.). The formatting segues from topic to topic without the confusion. The "how to's" look doable and the "don't do's" not overwhelming. I so appreciate what I'm now calling my "Sleep Bible".

This small, inexpensive and accurate book is a gem of a resource for anyone who has or knows someone with a sleep problem: all of us! Although it is based on the best medical science, the book is very easy to read and understand. Poor sleep can cause a multitude of medical and psychological issues, and this book can steer you to resolve more than your sleep problems. I plan to give it to many friends and leave a copy at my doctor's office for all to read.
This year's Christmas present for everyone on your list.

Extremely useful book. Obviously written with an eye for medical accuracy, but practical for the average reader, and not condescending. The tips work, or educate, or lead one to the proper source for more information and/or treatment. Sleep problems are more and more being recognized as a huge detriment to daily living and working and general enjoyment of life so anything that can help is greatly needed, and this can help.
Give this book to everybody you care about... and keep one for yourself!
