This book stoked my imagination in ways the other "baby name" books did not. I fully appreciated the advice as to how to compound names to come up with a unique name on my own. The number and variation of the names brought smiles and gasps of "oh! wow!" I even found my own name (an old family last name) listed in this book! That's impressive research. I've only met one other person with a first name like mine
More names than you will have time to read.

We bought this book for both of our daughters when they became pregnant and both have enjoyed hours of reading looking for just the right name. The book includes the name origins, which can help when picking a name for your child.

I gave this book to my expectant niece as a gift. She was very pleased at the variety of ideas and her husband enjoyed the stories that were included from people relating their personal experiences of their own names. As a gift, it was certainly worth the money, that's for sure!

As a new mom, I really found this book helpful in my search for the perfect baby name. I really liked the creativity of some of the names-- I finally settled on Briander for my baby boy.
