The final and definitive collection of medical memories from thirty of those who graduated in Medicine at Newcastle in 1968. This is a collection of memories, mostly from around 50 years ago. Many of these contributions reflect the endless variety of human behaviour and the gratitude, enthusiasm and pleasure, as well as the heartache, brought by doctoring in its many forms. We have been a very fortunate generation and many of us feel that we had the best of it, not envying our successors, especially at this time of writing. This is an Aubreyesque medical social history mainly of the 1960's and seventies. Some of the recollections are sad, some funny, and some not for the faint hearted, but they are all genuine and unique.Any profits from this collection will be donated to: The Newcastle University COVIDI9 Emergency Fund for Students.
