A true reflection of living in the Gulf

This is a beautifully written and illustrated book for children. Having lived in the Gulf, this rhyming ABC reflects day to day life and covers all different aspects of life from food, recreation, past times, cultural/religious days. From bedouins, hammour, um ali and camels, there is something for everyone. Large glossy illustrations and easy to read pages. A beautiful gift or souveneir from the Gulf.

I discovered this book while living in Bahrain with my three children. We quickly purchased an arm load and sent them back to all our friends and family in the United States. "A Children's ABC of the Gulf" is a terrific introduction to Arabian life. Now this book serves as a treasured memory of our time in the Gulf. The illustrations are fabulous!
