You can't go wrong with artwork by the "Painter of Light", but the Christmas story that is told here is tremendously touching! Reminiscing about an interrupted telegraph message concerning an important visitor on Christmas Eve that set the town in motion is the backdrop of this beautiful Christmas tale. . . I am a collector of Christmas stories as well. I agree that this is one of the top ten!

I read this book in the book store, I couldn't put it down and bought it right after with tears still in my eyes. Thomas Kinkade is an extremely talented illustrator and the story is amazing. I read it in church as the message one week, it is just terrific!
