This is a great "feel-good" book, written in true Anita Stansfield style. It deals with falling in love, and overcoming your past to make a better future. I was pleasantly surprised to see issues discussed in this book that generally don't appear in LDS-related literature-- issues like child abuse, drugs, and teen pregnancy. It gave the book a refreshing twist, and you wanted to see Melody succeed in overcoming her past. I liked being able to relate to the book's setting, and some of the Christmas traditions mentioned. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light, happy-ending read.
