Beautiful Stories!

I got this book as a gift and I am in LOVE with it!! It is such a sweet book! I highly recommend it! All of the stories are positive, even though not all of the stories turn out "perfect." Even the first story alluded to by a past poster was a positive one. Things do not always have a happy ending and it is encouraging to read about someone who experienced it and still found joy in her situation! I am going to buy this book for all of my friends who get pregnant in the future!

I have to give this book a five-starred review -- because I have a story in it. Woohoo! My story, "The Great Rabbit Chase" on p. 185, is only one of over 50 humorous and inspiring tales to encourage moms-to-be. Editor Colleen Sell did a top-notch job compiling an eclectic mix of writers sharing the wonders and woes of maternity. I've laughed and cried reading through these stories, and can't wait to give it as a gift at the next baby shower I attend. The shiny paperback cover is durable enough to withstand doctor's visits, bathtubs, even delivery rooms ... and who has time to read more than a short story between contractions anyway? Nothing is better for taking a mom-to-be's mind off her aches and pains ... than a book that reminds her it's worth it all...when baby enters the world.
