Although some of the language is archaic, the message is timeless and very difficult to dispute. Our universe has vast space and options for many types of people and cultures. The story is written in the first voice of the dweller. It is amazing how even though it was told over 100 years ago, it still has many points which are so relevant today in the 21st century. I'm a big fan of Edgar Cayce's books because...well, I believe in his material. In one of his books he mentions Phylos, so I bought it and am half way through. Really an excellent, VERY ODD, and quite amazing book that I DO NOT BELIEVE is a fiction. What's important to me is the message which is about LOVE. Won't say more. Any book written by an 18 year old that talks about cathode ray tubes, lasers, and atomic energy with a release date of 1884 is a must read for all! Pretty smart kid. Hardley! How can I begin to describe this book? This book is without peers! Having an interest in ancient history, and being fascinated by the repetitive nature of the dreadful folly of our "race" ( human ), I began to read this book as if it were fiction. This book will cause anyone with an open mind to quake at the very core of their being. This is the "story" of a man and of his illustrious life on the lost continent...
