In "A Full Moon Rising . . . and the Tao of Menopause", Kimberly Quinn Smith very humorously tells the tale of entering into the new stage of mid-life, while associating hormonal moments with the lunar schedule and her symbolic metamorphosis into a menopausal werewolf.
