Arizona Territory - 1890. Scotsman, Alec Mackenzie comes into town and buys a spread next to the Coopers. He runs into Lauren and her brother as Lauren gets into a fight with the town bully. Oh boy, can she cuss. Yup! one things leads to another and boy, do the hormones kick up. Alec has a severe case of them. The busy bodies of the town try to steer him away from the Coopers, as they consider the Coopers low grade people. Sam Luttrel is sure going to get even with Alec and the Coopers. Especially "Coop" - that is Lauren. Alec learns of the odd behaviors of the Sheriff and Pa Cooper in regard to Lauren. Alec ends up being the only one concerned when Lauren does not show up home. Ah, but then he is lead into the gentle trap of falling in love. Only it takes "Miss Chloe", a madam, to explain the facts of life to Alec. Definitely Recommended -M - turns out to be a really good romance.
