A German in Mexico: Eleven Days in Nuevo Vallarta
It was my first time in Mexico after the Covid 19 pandemic and the third time in total. I was in Nuevo Vallarta before in 2018 and at a resort between Cancun and Tulum in 2015. I tried to escape from the long Canadian winter, not so much from the snow and cold, but the darkness. For me, there has been the world before and the world after Covid. Times don't really change but people do. How did they change? How can I use my Duolingo Spanish? The world seems to be falling apart and the social coldness and loneliness among us seems to have gotten worse after the pandemic. What's better than escaping in those tumultuous times?
