I purchased this book as a requirement for my introductory programming course and it provided me with an excellent basis for the structures of programming. It is a great book for beginning programmers to keep and refer back to from time to time. It is pretty basic for anyone other than a beginner though.

This could be the most comprehensive book which introduces the readers to programming logic and design. It should be the first choice of beginners learning logic and design, and a reference for the pro.
