I bought this book as a supplement to the O'Sullivan review book. They both have pros and cons, but the questions in the Giles book are MUCH MORE like those on the exam. I would not however use it solely for review -- O'Sullivan is much stronger on the review portion. With the combo of those two books though, if you study, there's no way not to pass!!!

A Guide to Success offers hundreds of examination questions that are very challenging. The explanations to the stated answers allowed me to understand questions that I missed and provided useful background information on questions I answered correctly.

I purchased the new edition of A Guide to Success in May of 1999 and found it to be the most thorough review product available for the current licensing examination. The text includes a 200 page academic review and four sample examinations each with 200 questions. I found the questions to be clinically oriented instead of simply based on memorized fact. The text has a complete explanation presented for each question and even cites a specific academic resource. I believe at $39.95 the text is an excellent value. As a point of information the text depicted in the description is the old edition.
