A concise, yet comprehensive single source for information on fighter aircraft. Contains a historical narrative, then two sections (1914-1945, and, 1945-present day) covering each specific aircraft, with data and photos. The book was published in 2002, so that is where it cuts off (i.e. you won't get the F/A-22 strike fighter). The book covers all of them, from all nations. Hundreds of sharp photographs, both vintage and recent. On heavy glossy stock. A very nice publication and resource on the topic. Will keep you thumbing for hours, and is definitely a nice addition to any aviation library.
