Few fiction titles manage to seem so realistic and captivating that I'm inclined to read them for hours at a time. This title, however, was incredible- Adderson skillfully blends history and storytelling to create an amazing book. Her writing style is perhaps not the best I've ever read, but the story she tells more than makes up for it. Her characters are vivid, intersting people that draw very different plots (an old man and his partner, and a young woman's foray into history) together solidly.
