A Land Unknown is an astonishing true story of one man's incredible journey to Hell and back, truly, a must read for those curious about the near-death experience written from the Christian... This description may be from another edition of this product.
As a pastor and theologian, I have a keen interest in all doctrinal matters, and one of the most fascinating (and sobering) is the dogma of hell. I picked up this book a few weeks ago and finally sat down to read it and could not put it down until I finished it. I hold a doctorate in theology and this book offers one of the most detailed insights into the nature of hell that I have ever read. Based on the private revelation of one man's personal journey through "A Land Unknown," it provides the reader with cogent reasons for hell's existence, the nature of its pains, its inhabitants and the sins that brought them there, and how its existence can be reconciled with a God of love and mercy. Be forewarned, this is no light fare and will inspire at least imperfect contrition. See you all in church on Sunday!
An Excellent Read for Atheists

This book, written in a non-fictional style, answers a lot of arguments given against the reality of a creator God. Within, the common objection to God is why does a God of love allow suffering? If God created everything, why did He create evil? If God foreknew who would live in heaven or perish in hell, why would he create those who would go to hell? All these are answered by God in this book. Please, however, prior to reading the book, ask God to reveal Himself to you.

When I read this book it was hard to believe this really happened to someone and they lived to tell about it. It is a fascinating book that makes you realize that life is precious and we should make the best of it while we can. The book is hard to put down once you start reading it. It is full of suspense and mystery and is very thought provoking. Read with care; it may change your life.
Hell of a book about Hell

One of the best books on the topic of Hell, I've read. I purchased book upon recommendation from a friend, and I was not disappointed. A Land Unknown: Hell's Dominion is one Hell of a book about Hell. It is the most descriptive account I have ever read and written in an easy to read first person story format that left me speechless! I began reading the book and could not put it down. I read over 200 pages in one sitting. It usually takes me a week to read 100 pages. Not this book. I know the topic of Near Death Experiences turn many people off, but this book is so different from that genre it is worth the read. The book is about a personal Near Death Experience visitation to Hell and back. Most accounts of NDE's gloss over the subject of Hell and what is like - not this book! If anyone is interested in the subject of Hell and wonders what the Hell, Hell is like - this is a book for you. A book in line with Dante's Inferno; where Dante left off, the author takes you on a wild ride into furthest reaches of the netherworld.
