Her blend of realism and hope told with a chaste economy of words draw the reader into the core of her life. The days?and pages?turn over seamlessly. She covers divorce, death, depression, the loss of children, and home, among other things. She asks questions. She does not give pat answers. Yet the book is neither ponderous nor self-pitying. Her steadfast faith and whimsical Irish humor lighten the pages. She is also the author of "Earthen Vessel" and "Like a Watered Garden."
