A great bio. of a little known heroic couple. A lot of the material is found in the bio about Willard himself, but every one of the retold stories is worth repeating. I was pleased to find a couple of stories that I hadn't ever read, including references to other sacred visitations in the sacred grove. Fun and inspiring book, a little bit campy, but very easy to read. Loved it.

True stories are best

A Lion and A Lamb One of the best biographical books I have ever read. It was not just an outline of a married couple's life together but included descriptions of actual events in their lives that made the book come alive as I read. The descriptions brought the way this couple and their neighbors lived almost jump out of the pages as I read. I cherish the book and I count this book as one I will definitely keep in my permanent collection.
