a great book on Copper Country

Being born and raised in the Copper Country n retard from copper range Mining Company White Pine facility I can tell you this book is very very true. It is one of your better written books on the Copper Country what are worth the money.

The best introduction to 'Yooper Life' that I can think of

The late Mac Frimodig was a lifelong resident of the Copper Country and a good friend & neighbor of my own relatives in Laurium, Mich.; he knew his stuff. He'll always be remembered as a great fan of the Upper Peninsula and enthusiastic promoter of U.P. culture & tourism. Thus, they couldn't have picked a better man for this job, the result being a fascinating, folksy collage of articles about livin' "Up Nort," from making hot pasties to coping with cold winters.
