A Wonderful Study Guide For Mothers

I was greately encouraged by each lesson in the book. They offer valuable spiritual insights and godly wisdom. I highly recommend this study guide to any mother who seeks to pass on Christian values to her children. One of the lesson was about patience. Jeanne Hendrick used Elizabeth's unwaving trust in God to illustrate how we as mothers could learn to wait on God. It was not until Elizabeth was in her old age that she was pregnant with John. When God's messager announced to her that she would be with child, she accepted the announcement without any doubt. The Bible said she was upright throughtout her life, throught all those years when she was without child. I was especially touched by Jeanne Hendrick's comment that even though most of us accepted the fact that "patience is a virtue", we took issue in learning patience and yet the book of James in the Bible said we learned patience through tribulation.
