Get out the tissues!... this book is a real heartwarmer and could very well bring out a tear or two. Clearly, Grace Saalsaa is a loving person who has dedicated her life to rescuing and rehoming dogs. The stories in this book reveal just how much joy can really be experienced by taking in an otherwise "unwanted" dog and giving it a second chance. Also a great gift idea for the dog lovers in your life.

A hidden gem in the vastness of literacy - this book brings one full circle through every emotion. I laughed until my belly hurt, cried in vain for the forgotten souls, and raged against the unspeakable. Truly one of those "can't put it down" books! James Herriot has met his match... I'm really hoping to see more from this writer!
