This book does not attempt an exhaustive history of early Methodism in Russia; rather it brings together photographs and documents this author first collected as part of the research for the volume Methodism in Russia and the Baltic States: History and Renewal. Of course, some materials have come to light since and are also included. The periods covered in this volume are as follows: 1. Missions of the MEC to Russia proper (1880s to 1931); 2. Missions of the MEC to the Baltic States (1900 to 1939); 3. Siberia-Manchuria Mission of the MEC (1920 to 1927). So far as the Siberia-Manchuria Mission of the MECS is concerned, one must address both Korean and Russian ministries.
