the heroine is married to a man who hits her repeatedly. they stay in a hotel next to a gentleman's room, who listens to what happens and sympathises with the princess. he is also supposed to spy on the prince, so he tries to become friends with his wife. but the prince is also very jealous, so they meet rarely, but they fall very much in love, while sharing their souls with each other. finally, the prince comes to a point where he attempts to kill her. the hero saves her, just in time and they wait for her to become well, and then they are married. i loved so much the relationship between the princess and the gentleman. they connected so much and he was so protective and tender, while all the time he couldn't do anything to help her. their love was so pure and he didn't even touch her until her husband was dead.
