A quick, entertaining, intelligent read. I salute Ms. Thomas' ability to keep her heroine chaste while avoiding sanctimony. Her plot twists reminded me of cornrow braiding: just when you thought you'd found that one loose end, it turned out to be entwined in or under another twist. Highly entertainng.

A Resolution of Love begins with three friends preparing to go to a New Year's Eve party. You get to know these friends, heroine, Daryl, friends Audrey and Margo, intimately. This book shares a realistic view of how women and men view commitment. Daryl knew what she wanted and had the strength not to compromise. Sheldon, a victim of childhood insecurities was afraid to trust himself. Very true to life. This was an excellent story to read. Try it.

I thought this book was wonderful reading. It has really inspired me. I really like Daryl and her strength. I look forward to reading more from this talented author.
