A memoir written by professional drummer and songwriter Carlos Solorzano. He originally started his music career in the Los Angeles music scene playing mostly in rock bands while also doing session work for various artists. Later he relocated to the Arizona desert in Tucson and is now active in the working country scene, as a solo performer & clinician, as a session drummer for various artists and as a composer for television and film. To commemorate his 30th year as a professional performer he updated and re-released the book in 2021. This memoir was originally finished after he completed his 25th year as an active professional musician in order to allow him to reflect on his musical journey thus far. His story includes many of his experiences as a working band member & as a solo artist, as a musician for hire, past failures & success stories, humorous moments with those closest to him and how changes in his life redirected his musical dreams as well as personal priorities.
