I enjoyed this book immensely. The women all seemed "real" with "real" life problems - things didn't go perfectly, or how they would hope, and their approach to faith and prayer seemed practical and was encouraging - didn't hardly seem like fiction!!

With the pitfalls that pepper their paths, five friends come together to pull each other up and out. They meet weekly at Norro's Diner, just off Main Street, and share their individual crisis. Stephanie has a teenage son who believes he is the father of Chelsea's unborn child, but an accident, Stephanie calls an act of God, has created a mystery surrounding the pregnancy. Irene, Chelsea's mom, has to heal from the dark secret of her daughter's pregnancy and somehow keep her daughter stable. Twenty-year-old Tonya's boyfriend wants to live his dream before he commits to her, so Tonya turns down scholarships to prestigious schools and takes her four year old son to New York to seek her dream as a runway model. The friends help Eleanor overcome the fear of breast cancer, a fear that turns her to God, and strengthens her marriage. This group is held together by Lauren, twice-divorced, who moved from Manhattan, to California, to Nashville Tennessee where she found herself and most importantly found something more important than herself. I have read all 3 books! They are all wonderful and a delight to read. You fall in love with the characters and feel the friendshhip and love that these characters share. HOWEVER, I am extremely disappointed to find that this is the LAST book to be released. The 3rd book ends with so many questions left unanswered. I was in shock to find out that there is not another book. If anyone enjoys these books as much as I do, PLEASE e-mail the author - her e-mail address is printed on the back of her books. PLEASE petition her to write more. I must find out what happens to my Circle of Friends!
