I had no idea that so many interesting things happened in the White House. These stories should be more readily available to students because this makes history so much more fun to read.

This is a great book for reading in those spare moments. For me, it was not the sort of book I'd read in one or two sittings -- just a chapter here and a chapter there while waiting in a doctor's office, or sitting at the Barber shop, or reading a quick chapter before bed. It is not intellectually challenging -- it's not meant to be. It is an enjoyable, easy to read book that is filled with interesting, little-known facts.
