Tongue twisters are a form of play that is like no other. By putting together a series of phrases that require some lag time between them so that the speech mechanisms can recover, we can put ourselves in a situation where our mouths are incapable of making the appropriate sounds. This book is a collection of such phrases, and they are simply fun to (try to) say. Children also enjoy reading and trying to say the phrases. This is a book meant to be read aloud, making it both fun and frustrating. Read it in the manner for which it was intended, enjoying it for what it is, a way to have fun by simply talking.
