elegant writing, pleasurable reading

This primer reconfirms that few writers have crafted more reflective, personal essays than Mehta has over the years and fewer still offer readers from the West his incredible perspective on the wonders of India...and love. This is a writer who hasn't received nearly the acclaim that he deserves.
