A Vintage View

A Vintage View is the frst book published by Martha Wolff. It is primarily her autobiography (memoirs). She reveals, in her writing, various turning points in her life, and the obstacles she had to overcome. Her love of books and writing came early in her school years, thus giving her a new found dream to create a book.The books is reminiscent of a simple past. It is written with historicaly empowered pride and is a book that tells of living the actual days of vintage.Part One was inspired by her life as a child in rural Iowa and later in Missouri. She writes of her journey through life as a young girl in which she shares true life experiences, challenges, and losses. She tells about how she worked her way from poverty, into the business world. She demonstrates how hard work and a determination to obtain additiional education, has helped achieve the life she enjoys today.The author is mindful of how love and religion hold us together as she writes about her parents and other family members and their struggles in the years following the Great Depression and World War II.Part Two gives highlights of her new found tranquility later in life.Mrs. Wolff is hopeful that this book will give encouragement to other less fortunate, young people to pursue their dreams.
