Having the great privlage of meeting mr. zuckerman in person,it was on my second and last visit that his book was made known to me.Putting aside all notions and impressions of mr.zuckerman i found his book to be not only an amazing depiction of a horiffic time, but also feel i have been made a more enlightened individual to a time i can't comprehend.Having said that,mr.zuckerman's book and life story was told in such a down to earth level that one could read his rendition of great atrocities and still continue to be pulled into an intense story. It is with that somewhat calm tone of his telling that i walk away from his story with a sense and feeling of knowing mr. zuckerman on a more personal level to that which he may have never intended. The story of schindler is an amazing one in itself, having met and read the book of mr.zuckerman and him being rescued by mr.schindler,i put his book down a little more wiser and quite a bit more humbled.Truly a great story, worthy to be read by all.
