I've read this book twice now, and expect to read it again within the month. "A Wild Life" is remarkable and unique among the autobiographies and personal memoirs I've read. It is both a humorous and self-effacing look at the author's evolution as a conservationist, and a compelling and reverent tribute to the wildlife and landscapes of one of Africa's most troubled nations. "A Wild Life" was and is a joy to read.
