Abortion is one of the most persistently debated issues in American culture and politics today. The artists included in this volume editorialize on the morality of abortion, whether abortion rights should be protected or restricted, and whether protestors should target abortion providers. Cartoons by Ann Telnaes, Chuck Asay, and Bruce Beattie are discussed in this provocative collection.
first, you must be open to both sides of the issue

This book is very interesting as you get both sides of the issue. There are women who have had abortions as well as nuns talking about after abortion mental health problems. There's the legal as well as the morality argument. But each piece has a different viewpoint, so there's no "you must _believe_ " this or that. The book gives you more of a global perspective on abortion. If you are willing to read opposing views, this is a good place to start.
