New from Candy Apple: Book three in a middle-school series by New York Times-bestselling author Lisa Papademetriou. It's sweet, fresh, and fun--take a bite Seventh grader Amy Flowers is finally making her mark at ultra-exclusive Allington Academy, but there's always one thing standing in her way: the League. They rule the school, and their queen is oh-so-mean Fiona, who doesn't exactly appreciate a new girl invading her turf. This time, Amy's stuck working on a service project with Fiona and preppie know-it-all Preston. When Fiona starts acting super-sweet, Amy wonders if she's being fooled. Fiona doesn't do favors unless she gets something in return--but could it be that she just wants to be Amy's friend?
Life for a seventh grader sure has its ups and downs. For Amy Flowers, the ups include great girlfriends and a few guy friends, too. The downs are all the messes she gets herself into, and of course, some catty opposition from ultra-rich Fiona and her followers. The seventh grade community service project is looming, and Amy chooses to volunteer for the elementary school health education program. It doesn't hurt anything that Anthony, the tall, smiling boy leading the group, is serious hotness. Bus as it happens, drop-dead looks don't mean drop-dead niceness, and Anthony looks less and less dreamy the more he criticizes Amy and the other volunteers. Weaving the ups and downs of relationships, the author is right on target with the voice, awkwardness, embarrassments and concerns of 7th grade girls. Well done.
The best one yet!

I really enjoy the Candy Apple books, especially this series. And in my opinion, Accidentally Fooled is the best so far. If you've read the rest of the series, don't stop just yet! This is a great book, I REALLY loved it. And if you haven't started the series yet, you should! Along with the other Candy Apple books!
Very Good Book

I really liked this book. I also like the Amy Flowers series, she's the main charecter in the book. I really liked the suspence in it. How Fiona (she's mean to lots of people, including Amy) started being really nice to Amy, and even gave her a phone. So I was happy to get my hands on reserved copy from my library.
