What a Great Story

My daughter came home from school SO excited to tell me about the story her teacher was reading to the class. It was Addy's Story. She told me in detail about what was happening to Addy. She said, "Mom, I can't WAIT to hear what happens next to Addy!" Her teacher said even to boys in her class love this story.She said she reads it every year to her class. My daughter and I read the rest of Addys's store in 1 weekend! How can you NOT love something that your 8 year old is so excited about!
A great story for any 6-12 year old girl...

What I enjoyed most about the Addy series was that it talks about friendship and being a leader. It tells you about how a child would feel in slavery, but in a positive way. Addy and her family try to stay happy no matter how bad things get. I think Addy would inspire any girl to become a leader.
