It was not a "Little Boxes" childhood. This book recalls a largely vanished America. In large part an America that had pretty well vanished at the time these events occurred. It is a true record of times and places now gone. While these stories, both tragic and comic, are true, some of the names have been changed. There are still some innocents out there.
