A good twist on reading!

Just read this book tonight to my two daughters (ages 6 and 8), and they simply loved it. Since it was daytime still, we went into my closet and closed the door and started reading. One daughter held the flashlight while I held the book. The other daughter waited till it was her turn to open the "hidden" pictures which were illuminated on my closet wall perfectly. I am sure this would be a great read for Halloween too. I would also like more books like this one. Please list titles, if you have any. Enjoy!

I am planning on buying this...it looks like fun...there was one reviewer who wanted more like this...I know 2 more BETTER than this appears to be: Mr. Whambamboozle and Spooky Scrapbook...they are a lot of fun...very interactive, pop-ups, smelly things, scary sounds (smells and sounds on Mr. Whambamboozle)....my 3 1/2 year old daughter loves them! Looking for more like them!

The past 4 years I have dressed up (politically correct or not) as a witch for my elementary school and read and this book aloud. From K-5th grade they get a big hoot out of it. I just love the oohs and aahs. The dry erase boards make a wonderful veiwing for the flashlight pictures. It helps me remember how much fun Halloween used to be.

My sister had given this book to us, and we have been trying to find others like it, as it was enjoyed by our son to such a great extent. Fun, funny, and asked for well beyond the Halloween season. If anyone out there has not read this one, be assured, your children will love it! If anybody knows of others like it, please forward the titles to me. This was an A++++++ book for our son!

This book is fun for both kids AND parents to read! Each page brings excitement by lifting up the flap and shining a flashlight through the "shadows." The kids quickly learn and remember what image comes next. It has become the favorite bedtime book at our house. Perfect for the Halloween holiday!
