I didn't expect it to be this intense but I'm not mad.

More intense than I thought it was going to be but very compelling and easy to read! I really related with and loved Lydia.
I’m happy with the romance between Bane and Lydia. They both deeply respect and care for each other, and their banter made me smile sometimes. Their dynamic at first feels uncomfortable, but when Lydia relaxes and feels more safe it blossoms into a natural bond and a true understanding.
Lydia is a strong enough character to carry the story on her own. I cared a lot about her, and I had a good sense of who she was and her motivations.
