This Book is based on a true story and i personally enjoyed it, It hurt in some places and in others made me smile. The real woman, Evie, is my Grandmother and it hurt to know that she went through all of those hard times, to be honest i never knew my Grandmother was in a home until the book was brought up and it took me about a week to read it, I was so lost in the adventure of my elders, It is a wonderful book!And it is something that will definatly be in my heart and in our family forever.Beth
