This is not a typical dry history/genealogy, but a fascinating story of the courage of one family in their search for a better life in America. The genealogy section is extremely well written and includes interesting facts about the various family members. It would be interesting for not only the resident of the Holland and Zeeland, Michigan area, but for anyone interested in history and genealogy.
