Like taking a trip to Lebanon

My ancestors are from the area the author writes about and her colorful stories and great recipes are heartwarming. I have several other Middle Eastern cookbooks and always look to see whose recipes are most like what I knew in my childhood. This is a small gem of a book and if you enjoy cooking exotic foods, a little history and a peek into your native roots, I sincerely recommend it. I have bought 3 copies as gifts.
