In his popular books Above Top Secret, Alien Contact, and Beyond Top Secret, Timothy Good has focused on the worldwide involvement of the intelligence community in UFO research, sightings by witnesses such as military and civilian pilots, and the recovery of alien vehicles. Now this bestselling writer concentrates on reports of actual encounters with extraterrestrial beings, presenting evidence that Earth is actually the base of operations for several alien species. The most authoritative and comprehensive account of alien visitation and colonization in the twentieth century, Alien Base is the culmination of nearly forty years' research that for the first time offers an in-depth understanding of this diverse, bewildering and bizarre range of phenomena. New Evidence form Timothy Good's files includes: The most impressive collection of photographs of alien craft The first convincing photographs of aliens Retrievals of alien craft and bodies predating Roswell Cases involving repairs carried out to grounded craft Visits to alien bases on Earth New stories of worldwide encounters with aliens (1920-97) Unidentified submarine objects reported by naval observers Remarkable new cases involving space-time distortion Sensational new encounters reported by pilots Written by a researcher recognized internationally for his objective and unsensational approach to this complex and multidisciplinary subject, Alien Base provides a unique insight into Earth's most enduring enigma.
Timothy Good has done a great service to Ufo buffs. What he has done is to cull through and distill down only the most probable stories from witnesses with high credulity. E.G. doctors, lawyers (ahem...), military officers, scientists, etc. Other witnesses not in this category are well corroborated through thier police reports. These are little known, but highly corroborated accounts from the 40's thru today. If you're looking for clear, concise, detailed accounts, without all the political frippery and extraneous comment from the " experts ", then this is the book for you. 403 pages of well documented (with footnotes and references) accounts found nowhere else. Good's editorial comment is precise, commonsense, and thankfully, short. Photos disapoint though. Good gives us the benefit of his vast knowledge and sometimes personal involvement with some of the best known investigators. Cases span the globe from South America, to Europe to the U.S. A page turner! Hard to put down. Highly recommended!

Does It Matter Whether or Not Its True?

I've read all of Timothy Good's books;for that matter I've met the guy-he's one of the nicest people on the planet.I have enjoyed all of his books because he's a good writer and because his stories are interesting.Whether or not they're true is something I'm not able to address.Where do you draw the line on stories like these? Other reviewers have shaken their heads over Good's championing of Adamski and other "contactees", but their stories, as related by Good, make for pleasurable reading. I personally don't believe that Adamski was being contacted by anyone, but his story was interesting. That's the bottom line.I recommend this book as the best of Good's work and I urge the reader to suspend disbelief and to simply enjoy the book.Pretend that you're reading science fiction if you can't swallow the stories. Most of the subject matter will be new to even a fairly well read student of UFOs and Good's writing style is a pleasure to read. What else matters?

New UFO info

I'm always looking for new UFO information not already published that alludes to contact, motives, etc. This book provides a lot of new and interesting stories about UFO contactees. If you're looking for stories that are not in other UFO books this is it. Highly recommended. Includes a lot of photos. It's not hard science but very few UFO books qualify in that regard. Timothy Good has written other well regarded UFO books so he has a lot of credibility with me.
