The hard knock life is something Shantell Bryant knows too well. Life has dealt her a bad hand. As a child she had to deal with enough hardships and pain to last a lifetime. Raised in Charlotte, North... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was kind of skeptical to purchase this book at fisrt. I went into a book store looking for True to the Game III and came out with All or Nothing sold to me by the one and only Blake Karrington. The author is so down to earth and his writing skills are impeciable. The story is very real and it hits home to what many young women are facing today. I look forward to adding Mr. Karrington to my favorite author list and reading more of his work.
Okay Read

I too know the author so I was excited to read the book as well. And was a good read, however It was predictable and it just seemed like bad things kept happening. And I know good books have drama, but it was a bad luck cloud just sitting over her head. It was just too much going on with her to the point that it seemed unreal. And books are suppossed to create a movie in your head. And this was a movie that I would get aggravated with because it was too much going on. But please do read it, it was an okay read and you be the judge.
Sad but the truth

I know the author and I was kind of shocked when he told me he had wrote a book. So i picked it up and just recently read it last night and it was soo real and down 2 earth. I felt for Shantell b/c every time something came there was always bad. Even though i was sad how everything turned out its da truth and the way her cards were dealt. When i see Blake imma ask why not a good ending instead of sad but overall excellent book. Only 193 pages but well worth the money gets to the point no excessive writing
The Domino Effect

We meet Shantell Bryant as a child and soon realize that life for her is not a walk in the park. Instead, very early on she has to deal with a drug addicted mother and an abusive older brother. The things she goes through in her childhood shape the rest of her life including the way she carries herself, the choices she makes, and the way she behaves. Shantell is in a fight for a better life and will stop at nothing to insure that she and her daughter have the best. I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were dynamic and all people that I could either relate to or reminded me of people that I know. That's exactly what I look for in a book, and I certainly got it!
