Twenty years old, drop-dead gorgeous and headed for the fast track, Nicki McBain is poised to begin a high-powered law career when she hears the devastating news: Her future will be measured not in years, but in months. Her body has dealt her a death sentence, but in the time she has left, Nicki is determined to live. Accompanied by friends, Nicki embarks on a last-fling cruise to the Greek islands, determined to fill her days with as much beauty and pleasure as she can grab. But when she meets Michael Schuster, a handsome British photographer, she realizes she's found the last thing she was looking for: true love. By hiding her illness, Nicki hopes to spare the man she loves the truth she cannot avoid. And then the question remains...Can a lifetime of love be had in only a few short weeks?
Wow, this book really got to me. If I wasn't smiling I was crying, and all in the mere one night it took me to read it! There are some real life lessons packed in there (and I thought I was just picking up some light summer beach reading.) I'm gonna make all my girlfriends read it so they can have a good cry too.
WOW!

I just finished reading "ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD"... I read it in 2 days... usually it takes me about a year to read a book... but this one I just couldn't stop reading... it impressed me in any way very much... and it makes you think of your own life very intensively...! At the end I also had to cry... love is stronger than everything...! For all who haven't read it... go and get it! Definitely! You won't regret it! And for those who also have had the pleasure to share such a nice impressing story... don't dream your life... live your dream! Best wishes from Germany, Jenny
A thoroughly satisfying novel.

Twenty-year-old Nicki is bound for a high-powered law career when she learns that her headaches mean she has not long to live. Refusing to enter a hospital or live out her remaining months at home, she embarks on a cruise, only to fall in love with the man of her dreams. Should she continue to hide her illness from a man who can never share a future with her? All the Time in the World is a powerful account which is unique and moving. Highly recommended.

This book touched me. I cried... I laughed... Here is a story of a young woman with so much potential and only to find that she has 3 months to live. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she lived the rest of her life to the fulliest. After I finished reading this book. I went to my kids rooms and hugged and kissed them and told my husband how much I loved him. This book helped me appreciate what I have. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ.

I thought this was an amazing book. I finished it in one reading. It grabs you from the moment you pick it up, and doesn't let you go until the very last page. The main character has a strength in her that we all strive for. This is a very well written, very human look at a very tragic situation.
